Montreal Comicon 2015

Comicon 2015, the con of Ultraman. I will refer to this con as that because this was the most popular item I had.

This was the 4th Con we have been to, each one being more amazing to be a part of. I managed participating in it as well as the 2014, with my Bipolar condition, but each time we're there we make more money, and more contacts.

I loved this show as a kid. It was amazing how many people knew who this was. It lasted many years, like the Power Rangers, each season showed a different incarnation or version of them, Ultraman was the same. There are dozens and dozens of different Ultramen. I've seen a few episodes that came after the original, they just got sillier and sillier. The  first Ultraman will always be the best.
This was my 2015 table, my portfolio is growing!

This con I completed a colourized slide show DVD, a suedo E-book version, something I wanted to have at the 2014 Con, but vowed I would have by the next one. Mission accomplished. I will be putting that on You tube once I polish it up, I want to present the best work I can before I let it go 'out there'.

I have added another pre chapter to the story, Blond World 0 (Zero),
featuring more of the Blond Corps, and their struggles, and explores more of who each Sheila is.
There's more work to be done on this, (Still have missing Panels) most of it is sketches and black and white images.

The past 2 years we met up with Nikko Marie, the owner/creator of Cos Culture magazine. This year my wife Laurie and I were photographed by their professional photographer, for their face book page I'm guessing. These are the images;

 The top picture has Nikko on the left, Spock Vegas is next to her, Laurie then myself. I didn't realize it was a 'Vulcan' style picture, I was extremely tired, and posed in a way that it wouldn't show. The moral of the story?,….PAY ATTENTION Ya stupid…

So, getting to my efforts at self publishing,..it's slow going. Not because of closed doors, or lack of opportunities, but because of me. Having Bipolar Disorder and social anxiety has prooved to lesson the quality of life considerably. Combine that with bouts of insomnia, and having to pay for Expensive meds, my focus for most of 2014 was to become 'balanced', finding the right medication to alleviate what I'm feeling so I can participate in life without feeling it to be a painful experience, By that I mean working a full time job, going to stores that I really don't want to goto, but being married to someone who can't drive makes that hard to avoid. My going to these cons are trepidatious, but I do enjoy them while I'm there.
       As I mentioned in another post, I will not be focusing on all that. I have another work in progress entitled; 'Fractured Superiors, A Bipolar Confession' to deal with my experiences with BP. I am writing this to hopefully help others who're experiencing this miserable life altering anvil in a haze fog. I mention it to explain the slow progress I have made for 2014. Where I am now is where I should have been in 2014. My plans are to get more vids made for You Tube and Google plus, and reconnect properly with Comic Art Comissions, Linked -In and reformat Blond World into a real E-Comic book for Cloud Nine. I plan on doing more shows, and will be refocusing on the website for Paragraffx to concentrate solely (for now) on Sid Vane Art, and my graphic arts novel.

I will be working on the art of Book 0, as well as writing out Blond World 5.

I have other accomplishments that I haven't posted here as yet, I will take care of that this week.

Posted below are some of the 2015 Montreal Comicon cos players..they add ALOT of excitement to these events, and are as much a part of the Con as comics.
